Juried Art Show  

               

The Mural City Art Fest will hold its second juried art show in 2010.    This show provides new artists with an affordable, relaxed jury experience, valuable networking contacts and an opportunity to refine your presentation and marketing techniques. 

 

The juried art show is May 1^st on the grounds surrounding the Wiregrass Museum of Art. Show hours are 10 am – 5 pm.

 

Awards

 

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

·         Best in Show - $500

·         1^st Runner Up - $350

·         2^nd Runner Up - $250

·         Honorable Mention (3) - $50 each

·         Best New Artist - $50 (no previous juried art experience)

 

Booth Spaces & Fees

Booth sizes are 10’ x 10’.  Additional space is included behind each booth for storage. No more than two booth spaces may be reserved per exhibitor.  Exhibitors are responsible for providing tents, tables, chairs and display surfaces. 

 

The charge for a booth is $75.00 ($65 for Downtown Group members).  Electrical service is available for an additional $10. An Early Bird discount of $15 is available for any applications postmarked before March 1, 2010.

 

A non-refundable jury fee of $10 is required.

 

No commission is charged on sales. 

 

No fee will be refunded due inclement weather. Booth fees will be returned only if an application is not accepted.

 

An accepted application is a commitment to the show and no refund will be made for cancellations.  In the event of rain, exhibitors will have an opportunity to move inside the Dothan Civic Center and Wiregrass Museum of Art.
